Reading this site sets no cookies and builds no profile of you.

When a page loads, it sends one small signal to this site: the page's address and the site that linked you here, if any. Taps on a phone number or an email link are counted the same way. To count unique visitors without following anyone, the server turns your IP address and browser name into a code that changes every day. The raw IP address is not stored. The site also runs Vercel Web Analytics, our host's own visit counter, which works without cookies.
Reading this site sets no cookies. If you close the announcement bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that in its own session storage until you close the tab. Nothing about it is sent to us. People who sign in to manage the site get a sign-in cookie. Readers never do.
The contact form sends what you type: the reason you chose, your note, your organization if you add one, how to reach you, and a phone number only if you give one. With it we keep the page you sent it from, the site that linked you there, and a one-way code made from your IP address, used only to stop floods of messages. We use it to reply to you. It is kept in this site's database, may be forwarded to us by email so we see it quickly, and is never sold or shared with advertisers.
The figures on this site come from the shops' repair records, but no customer information does. The hub sees counts only.
Stays in the shop
The site is hosted by Vercel. Its images are served from our own storage on Cloudflare, and its fonts are served from this site, not from a font service. The maps on The Shops and About pages draw their map images from Esri, so your browser contacts Esri's servers when you open either page. When a search engine's or an AI assistant's crawler reads the site, we note which crawler it was, from the name it sends. That is a record about software, not about people.
No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking across other sites, and no selling or renting of anything we hold about you.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have a note you sent deleted, write to us through the contact page and say so. We will answer by email.
